Allison holds her BM in Horn Performance and self-designed BA in Publishing & Editing from Chapman University, magna cum laude, as well as her MM in Music Performance from the Bob Cole Conservatory at California State University, Long Beach (CSULB), summa cum laude.

In Arts Administration, she served as the Orchestra Manager for The Chapman Orchestra, the Assistant Manager of the Philharmonic Society’s Orange County Youth Symphony, and Marketing Associate with the Orange County School of the Arts Foundation. At the International Horn Society, she served two years as Secretary as the youngest Executive Board and Advisory Council member in the history of the organization. After serving as Secretary, she assumed the role of Executive Director, the youngest in the organization’s over fifty-year history.

On international tours and festivals, Allison has performed in the UK, Spain, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Austria, in addition to the International Lyric Academy in Italy. She has studied under horn teachers Jenny Kim, Russell Dicey, Rusty Holmes, Dylan Hart, and Annie Bosler.

Allison was a recipient of the International Horn Society’s Paul Mansur Award in 2014, was one of only a handful of recipients of Chapman University’s Musco Scholar Award in 2018, and the Lee & Joyce Goldin Scholarship at California State University, Long Beach in 2019. She has also been published several times in the International Horn Society’s journal The Horn Call.
